I am very lucky to have friends who gave me the freedom to create their crazy wedding stationery.

The design is neither beautiful nor romantic, but playful and fun and unique, just like them. Their garden party before the wedding was great, with lots of games and challenges. It was even planned to book a mechanical rodeo bull – what a brilliant idea!

With this in mind, I created a key visual based on the concept of my illustration series, where I start with a bunch of random lines and try to find the objects I am looking for. In this case: a bride, a groom, a bull.

I colored the illustration and designed the stationery using the beautiful fonts of the Austrian typographers Typejockeys.

I found a shimmering, pearl paper from Europapier Austria GmbH, flashy purple envelopes from Blanke Briefhüllen GmbH and a very flexible printing company, Schlossdruckerei Hetzendorf, which I can highly recommend. I was super happy with the quality and the service.

But my absolute highlight was that we actually produced custom stamps at the Austrian State Printing House. How exciting! I never thought my friends would go for it, but they were all in.

Thank you Karin & Thomas.
